Seaside is an oceanside community that overlooks the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. This 10-square mile city offers a variety of amenities from a diverse dining scene, to outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, and everything in between. Seaside is also home to the home of California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), and the Monterey College of Law, which are located on the site of the former military base Fort Ord. Seaside is also the gateway to Fort Ord National Monument Park.
