We are a group of concerned local citizens working locally to meet the challenges of declining resources and climate change by helping our communities transition to sustainable practices.

Friends of the Pacific Grove Library
The Friends of the Pacific Grove Public Library help ensure that our library is a thriving community center for discovery and lifelong learning.

Gatherings for Women
Our mission is to provide homeless women on the Monterey Peninsula supportive resources and a caring community. We provide the women we serve with hot, nutritious meals, clothing, showers,
comprehensive case management support, limited emergency assistance, education to promote a woman’s health and safety, job training, access to free basic health care, and connection to other community services and providers.

The Braxton Stuntz Foundation
BSF focuses on financial assistance of local and international education. We also follow Braxton’s heartin feeding and providing necessities to our local neighbors. Braxton cared about children and wedonate holiday gifts to the homeless, sheltered, and hospitalized children in his honor.

The Living Breath Foundation
The Living Breath Foundation is a non-profit organization created to help those living with Cystic Fibrosis. We award scholarships for qualifying individuals who wish to further their education beyond
the high school level. We also assist individuals and families with the added expenses associated withhaving Cystic Fibrosis, which include the extensive costs of prescription medication and medical
equipment. In certain situations we provide financial assistance for individuals who have prolonged or frequent absence from work. In addition to providing financial assistance, The Living Breath Foundations plans on producing new and inventive ways to raise awareness about the disease and what it takes to live with the illness.

Stanford University Hopkins Marine Station
One-on-one teaching remains one of the most successful ways that students learn. Hopkins Marine Station’s diverse laboratories and location on Monterey Bay gives us an amazing platform from which we can teach undergraduate and graduate students, with a mix of courses, seminars, and research opportunities that emphasize faculty-student interactions. Stanford provides the basic funds for these efforts, but gifts from people like you give us the flexibility to go beyond the basics.

Cake 4 Kids
At Cake4Kids, we bake and deliver birthday cakes for underserved children. They may be in grouphomes, at a domestic violence or human trafficking shelter, in low-income housing with or without a parent, or even homeless.

Pacific Grove High School

Point Lobos Foundation
Our mission is to protect and nurture Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, to educate and inspire visitors to preserve its unique natural and cultural resources, and to strengthen the network of Carmel Area State Parks. The Foundation is the sole source of funding for the model volunteer program, protects the Reserve’s environmental health and historical integrity by funding work on trails, facilities and vegetation, and continuously strives to improve programs and services for approximately one million visitors each year.

Assuring compassionate treatment of all animals through rescue, rehabilitation, protection and education. All animals in our community are safe, healthy, respected and valued.

CASA of Monterey County
CASA of Monterey County’s mission is to train and support community volunteers who advocate for abused or neglected children placed in foster care, upholding the children’s rights while pursuing a safe and permanent home.
